On May 10th, the Comanche Little Ponies will have their Annual Mother's Day Weekend Powwow. The Hasinai Society isn't co-hosting but we would really like our members to attend and show support for the Little Ponies. Plus, Christina Wolfchief, one of our Hasinai members and current Cheyenne tribal princess, is a specially invited guest.
Gourd dancing will start at 1 PM, with a supper break at 5, grand entry at 7:30, followed by intertribal dancing and contests. The dance will be at the Comanche Nation Complex in Lawton.

Friday, 19 April 2008 events!
This Friday is jam-packed with Hasinai Society events!
At 6:30, the Hasinai Society will participate in the Hasinai Head Start Center's storytelling night. Shirley Gouge will tell Caddo stories while other members of the organization perform some of our traditional dances. This will take place at the Caddo Nation's Cultural Building at the tribal complex and is sponsored by the Caddo Nation Child Development Program.
Immediately afterwards, we will head to Norman for the Annual OU Stomp Dance. The Stomp Dance will be held at the Lloyd Noble Center. Bring your shells and meet us there!
